Laboratorio Genove, S.A. is a dermocosmetic laboratory settled in Barcelona, Spain. Laboratorio Genové was founded in 1898 as a Pharmacy located in the touristic world famous Ramblas, in the heart of Barcelona, and has always been considered as a leading company in the dermo pharmaceutical area.

Throughout the years, Dr. Genové's Pharmacy always offered natural high quality pharmaceutical products, and it helped establish the basis of a long relationship with the Spanish dermatologists that persists in the present days.

In 1999, the company moved to a fully equipped modern plant with offices, industrial plant and wharehouses for the production of dermocosmetic products.

The company buildings are located 5 km south of Barcelona, 10 minutes from Barcelona International Airport. Genové's laboratories are fully equipped with the highest technology and its wharehouses are prepared to handle reliable logistics.

Today, after over a century of activity, Laboratorio Genové S.A. still represents an important reality, either in the national and international dermatologic field. Laboratorio Genové S.A. produces and markets pharmaceutical and dermatological products and improves its export skills worldwide. The company has proven high expertise in manufacturing and distributing high quality dermocosmetic products in more than 20 countries around the world.

Laboratorio Genové S.A. began operations in the late 19th century (1898) at the well-known pharmacy owned by Doctor Genové situated in Barcelona's popular flower stall-lined Rambla de les Flors. For many years, the Genové Pharmacy offered pharmaceutical specialties of its own production such as the famous phosphor drops or multi-purpose yeasts and established Genové's first relations with Spanish dermatologists.

Doctor Genové's House is a modernist building designed in 1911 by the architect Enric Sagnier i Villavechia situated at number 77 on the Rambla de Barcelona and was commissioned by the doctor himself for use as a pharmacy and laboratory.

With the passing of time, Laboratorio Genové was moved to a building on Barcelona's Gran Via as COMERCIAL GENOVÉ, where it began distributing pharmaceutical products. After being located for some time at the laboratories in Prat de La Manta street (Hospitalet de Llobregat), Laboratorio Genové is currently operating out of the modern Feixa Llarga facilities also in Hospitalet de Llobregat.
